Qualifying individuals should request an exemption from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s saliva-based COVID-19 testing program. You’ll need to upload documentation to substantiate your request. You can request an exemption for one or more of the following reasons:
- You have documentation of a positive COVID-19 test in the prior 90 days, and you have completed your 10 days of isolation.
- You can provide documentation of a health-care provider’s note that substantiates a medical reason for an exemption request.
- You are a student living in Lincoln or Lancaster County who is not enrolled in any in-person classes AND you do not plan to physically come to any UNL Lincoln campuses in spring 2021.
- You can provide documentation that participation in the testing program entails an especially burdensome hardship. Exemptions for this case will be rare.
For more information regarding this program, please see Spring 2021 Saliva-Based Testing.
